Trouble at NCP?

I have nothing vested in NCP, but I am SICK AND TIRED to quote Bill Cosby, of seeing Authors getting shafted (as it appears to be here-not throwing any opinion on that fire.) yet again.

How hard is it treat a business, well, like a business? A business for which you are supposedly in operation to run as a certain market?

contract that we have to post the books for sale--naturally we do
because the objective is to sell the books--but there is no REQUIREMENT that we
do so.

Jordan Dane Contest and News

Because this IS The Writer's Chatroom, we're going to SHOW—NOT TELL all month long.  We're also going to have a great time doing it! 

One year ago Jordan Dane's name popped up on my MySpace friend request list.  She had already sold three novels to Avon Harper Collins.  A few months later, she sold three more to the same house.   

Her FIRST novel, NO ONE HEARD HER SCREAM will be available April 8^th . 

Jordan Dane is "one to watch" if you'd like to see how the marketing and networking part of being an author is done—and done well.  She is going to SHOW us how to get it done—right.
