As Mel pointed out this morning, some people can adapt to mornings.
I AM NOT ONE OF THEM.
*clears throat*
I have never been a morning person. I have an autopilot that gets me through to about ten in the morning, but before then it's just not safe. Take this morning for example.
I am working on the Agent Book. First thing this morning, I have a hot kissing scene to write. I am not up to this. I don't even converse in the mornings, but here I am, having to write a friggin' make out scene with panache and at least a bit of sense.
Don't get me wrong. No one suffers. I get the boy dressed and mobile for school. The man... He's old enough. He's on his own. :D But on the weekends, don't expect breakfast until my brain has had sufficient time to come to speed.
And now I have to make a kiss sound good, sexy, and hot, all at the same time.

oh honey. I totally get it. I don't even get dressed to take the kids to school. they are terrified we're gonna be in a wreck and I'm going to have to get out of the car, wearing my pj pants, my clomping houseshoes and my big stained sweatshirt. Of course, if I had a "day job" still, that would be different. My PJs are my idea business casual now.
Oh me too! Slippers all the way. ;) I have what I call "slum wear", only fit for slumming around the house. I have an ancient sweatshirt that I wear a lot, and just whatever is comfy for the day.
Heck! I'm scared we'll have a wreck and I'll have to explain why I'm like... not dressed. ;)
I usually get up when the cats have started to gnaw on me.
I hate mornings so you are not alone!! I drag all morning and sometimes the man has to yank me out of bed or I won't leave. *sigh* Maybe one day...
